Kuga Park, bowling, Get Air, and Halloween

Some friends invited us to meet them at a park a little ways out of town that has a fun turf slide.  I guess those are a thing here.  So, we drove out into the mountains (only about a half our away) to Kuga Park.  We had so much fun! They had a fun playground, and a roller slide (a little too slow rolling for a thrilling ride), and the turf slide that was a lot of fun!  Sammy was too young to go on his own, so I had to ride with him each time, and he wanted to go many times.  I got my hike in for the day!  haha.

We took a walk one Sunday on the beach wall.  We were there at sunset and it was so beautiful! I had spent the last couple days cooped up in the house with a sick Sammy, and we were all happy to get out!

We finally made it to the bowling alley on base!  We haven't been bowling since Toby fell on a bowling ball and got stitches on his chin.  That was probably 3 years ago.

Milo got to present his first ever book report!  Jack B Ninja for the win!  This book meant his pumpkin would be simple, and he would get to wear his Ninja Halloween costume because he was presenting his report on the same day that they had "dress up like a storybook character day" at school!!

We carved pumpkins (Sammy painted) as a family and watched Hocus Pocus, our favorite Halloween movie! Of course my two oldest pick unicorns to carve. 😂

Milo didn't have school last Thursday or Friday, so Blake took Friday off so we could go play in Hiroshima. We started at Costco for an early pizza lunch and some groceries, and then for some serious fun.  Blake had been wanting to go back to take the boys to the trampoline park since Toby's birthday when we tried to go and it was closed down because of the storm.  Get Air was a hit! The boys had so much fun jumping and running around for 2 hours straight!
There are some really beautiful parts of Hiroshima.

We had such a fun Halloween!  It started with a church party where we had a chili cook off and trunk or treat.  We were having such a fun time playing with friends, that we didn't want to leave after almost 3 hours, but Sammy desperately needed a nap before trick or treating that night.  I have zero pictures from almost all of this. Too busy having a good time.
Toby was batman for the trunk or treat

Some Japanese candy they received. 😂

If  you're still here, congratulations for making it through all of that! 😂

Happy Election Day!  We voted about a month ago. Come what may.  "No matter who is president, Jesus is King."
This is from our favorite tv series The Chosen.  If you haven't watched it yet, make it happen.  You won't regret it!
